Hope everyone had a fab weekend! What did you get up to over the weekend? I had such a crazy weekend! I was so busy it barely felt like a weekend plus; it was payday madness here in Cape Town so the roads and shops were packed; it felt like the shoppers apocalypse but nevertheless; we still went to Yummi Bloomin Brilliant Bakery in Canal Walk and got ourselves a chocolate fix! OMG; have any of you tried their goodies? It is to die for!!! #DeathByChocolate!!!
I’m so sorry that I’ve been so quite and for not yet posting an update on the blog but I’ve been having endless issues with my internet connection at home. Luckily it seems like the problem has been sorted out :), thank goodness for that! Sigh of relief!
I’ve got some exciting posts & news lined up for you guys 🙂
The “100 Likes” Facebook competition is still running so get liking, sharing and spread the love. A random winner will be drawn when the Facebook page reaches 100 Likes. I will be giving away an awesome nail prize to the randomly selected winner when the page reaches 100 Likes … and who knows ;0) I might feel generous and give away another cool prize to the 100th Like!!!
In the meantime – Keep Calm and Polish on 🙂
Hi Ladies 🙂
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed their weekend. Of course the weekend was way to short for me – on the bright side though; it’s almost mid-week! Yeahhh!
As some of you may know; I’m running a competition to celebrate my first 100 LIKES on Facebook.
Hope everyone enjoyed their public holiday. It didn’t feel like a public holiday; went by so quickly! It’s been quite rainy and cold in the Mother City! Luckily its Wednesday today so the work week is almost over.
I’ve got another Essence Review 🙂 teamed up with some MoYou stamping. This time it’s on the entire new Gel System – from base coat to top coat! As you all might know by now; I’m a gel lover! I love the finish and the lastingness the gel coat provides (no chips etc.)
Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Great news 🙂 Competition time!!! Yeahhhh! We all love competitions right, so stay tuned … don’t go anywhere 🙂
Please like and share my Facebook page and follow my Twitter account.
When the Facebook page reaches 100 Likes; I will be giving away an awesome Nail Prize. The winner will be randomly selected.

Stay tuned for my Essence Gel Polish Range review teamed up with some awesome stamping!
Hey pretty ladies,
Hope everyone is doing well today!
It’s freezing in Cape Town! Wouldn’t it be nice to go home and sit in front of the TV with a cup of Milo topped with some marshmallows, watching a series?
Anyways; let me get on with it … I recently came across a Facebook page called “We Heart Nail Art” and “Heart Nailart”. They are a new company that sell nail art supplies. They are based in Ballito and are stockists of MoYou London! They are not affiliated by MoYou London; they are only the stockists of the products.
You do know what that means right? You can now buy all your favourite MoYou London goodies directly from We Heart Nail Art and get it the next day which means you don’t have to buy directly from MoYou London and wait for your package to come from overseas which is such a huge relief! Phewwww – now you don’t have to sit and bite your nails whilst waiting for your package to arrive.
There is a delivery fee of R99 which is well worth paying seeing that you get your goodies the next day after you have made the payment! Awesome isn’t it?
Of course I couldn’t resist the urge to place an order :0) – Oops; my bad! I ordered the sticky marshmallow stamper as well as one image plate – Pro Collection Plate 04!
Not long after the payment was made and I had sent confirmation of payment I got an e-mail confirming my waybill number etc. The next day I got my delivery without any hassles. The service I received from We Heart Nail Art was and still is top-notch! I would recommend this new online store to all nail art lovers! We Heart Nail Art specializes in fast, efficient and reliable service!
Here are a few pictures of my We Heart Nail Art package:
I will be posting a full review and a mani I did using my new MoYou goodies! This is definitely my favourite image plate and my favourite stamper! The stamper is super sticky and squishy and a definite must have for all nail art stamping addicts! If I only found this stamper sooner!
Check out their pages on Facebook as well as their online catalogue. Show them some love 🙂 Should you order anything from them (which you absolutely must); you can send your order to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hello there Beauties!
Another Essence Review 🙂
I have been wanting to try the Express Dry Nail art drops or the spray for a quite some time now. I opted for the Express Dry Nail art drops instead of the Spray!
Essence Polishes in general have a quick drying time which is fantastic but I knew I wanted to try these drops as a faster drying time would suite me perfectly as I am always on the go!
The drops comes in a clear bottle. The cap has a handy pipette which makes application a breeze. Application is easy peasy! Apply your polish and add these heavenly drops!
I add about 2 drops per nail. For my thumb I use about 3 drops. Now for the fun part … in about 60 seconds your nails will be touch dry. Isn’t that awesome! You’ll be ready to go about your business for the day or evening in no time. This is perfect for that “on the go” mani! It also adds extra shine and pampers your cuticles with Almond and Vitamin E oil!
Have you tried these heavenly drops? If not; this is a must have item in your mani at home Mani kit!
Morning Lovely Ladies!
Hope you guys had a good Monday!
I am very excited about this review 🙂
Nail Candi recently got their Nail Stamping Stock and I was over the moon! I jumped with joy and ordered my NailCandi goodies in no time. I ordered their rectangular stamping set and one image plate as I wanted to try the image plates as well.
This stamper is awesome! It picks up the images very well. It’s big enough for full nail designs which is great. The stamper is slightly less firm than the Essence stamper which simply means it “moulds” better to your nail shape so that you don’t end up with parts of your nail not being stamped. The stamping process is exactly the same as in my previous post. I did not use the scraper as it has metal on the scraper like the other sets so I still use my gift card. The rectangular stamper makes it much easier to line up images as its square!
The image plate I purchased JQ-06 is great! It has nice designs which I love. You can create multiple images by scraping in different directions. The plate is very good quality and the images are clear. I will definitely be investing in more of these image plates as they are fabulous! I would recommend this Nail Stamping kit from Nail Candi to everyone. Definitely worth every cent! Check out their online store and stamping collection: http://www.nailcandi.co.za/collections/stamping
Nail Candi is a great online store that delivers all over South Africa. They sell everything cool in nail art! If you don’t have time to get to the shops; pop into Nail Candi and show them some love!
This is one of my manicures I did using the Nail Candi Stamper and Image Plate.
What do you guys think?
